Typical?

The demo is out on PSN, and alot of people are playing it and loving it..

the likely first week sales in the U.S will be well over 100K, I expect 150K

world wide it should be able to do 300-400K first week, that is a good number for a new ip on a last place console. Not only that, but its likely that it will eventually break through the 1 million mark, and potentially get to 2 million by the end of the year.

Well, the word of mouth can also definitely boost sales. So it can be reaching 1.5-2mn in very few months.

It'll be a million seller eventually. Maybe two million with the right promotion, but I can't see it doing much more than that because there are a lot of gamers out there who refuse to play games like this, because it doesn't solely consist of shooting people in the face.

Not really. It's already at 80-90,000 in the US alone.

You CAN, however, get an idea of the numbers. Since EU #s will be higher, I'm telling you, that 100K for WW opening will be too low.

250-300K Week 1.

1.1-1.5mill Lifetime.

So do you really think it will be a million seller. Your right,the first week might be a little low. I'll say 150k for week 1 and stick with 500k for lifetime sales.

i didn't make a prediction before... this thread as pass under my radar... but if i would make some predictions then, i would be wrong... i was thinking 350K FW and 1.5+Mil LT...

but was very funny to read some of the predictions in here... some people just don't go out much!
