Well, still... you never know, they could turn out to be hidden genius within those games.

When Machinarium was unveiled no one paid attention to it and was widely ignored. It was only after they their nominations at IGF that they started to get some credit.

@burning_phoneix: The irony about your statements is that of all people who posted in this thread it's you who's judging the quality of some games by the screenshots, not the TC or others. Give the games a chance before you judge them...

Let's take Haunted for example, which you think doesn't deserve to be on the list: While I'm not the biggest fan of the art style, all previous releases from Haunted's developer Deck 13 (Jack Keane, Ankh series, Venetica) were good games.

Awesome List especially in terms of Strategy games.

Where is Witcher 2 ? That should be the best RPG on PC's this year.

While I don't know much about Venetica, Jack Keane and Ankh were mediocre games at best.

 

Why should we get excited about this and games like Culpa Innata 2 when the first game was horrible?

That's funny cause I'm willing to bet anythignt hose multiplat games will suck compared to the ones on top due to being dumbed down for consoles.

agreed, plus a lot of those "random" titles look to have some promise. Remember Shattered Horizon didn't get much attention and its a pretty good game. Lacking content, but a good game.
