Diomedes1976 said: Guys ,the PS3 is selling more than the X360 since launch in Europe .Thats facts ,no matter what teh data for others show in this page .In fact when ioi gets new data he usually has to do some changes as recently with the France and Spain numbers growing those a 30% ...and probably this happens in all Europe .If you assigned those sales to the correspondant weeks you would see a clear scenario of the PS3 outselling the 360 and probably even the Wii the last weeks .I dont know the rest of Europe but the PS3 in my country since the price drop and 40Gb models is outsold or with 1-2 units in most stores while there are tons of Wiis and 360 out there .
Stop with the "sony lies " thing .Sony cant lie to its shareholders because the directives can be put apart if the shareholders receive news that contradict what Stringer told them .And with people as Gfk mesuring the sales over all the Pal area and releasing them as soon as december/january as they usually do lying is a nonsense short-lived .
But I see you prefer the fanboyish "Sony is lying " to some actual facts as the PS3 selling much more since the price drop .Whatever ,the people will still have the console in their homes even if you dont believe it . |
Well, "Total Others" data we have is the least accurate out of the three regions, and does get adjusted when we have more accrate data, but being that all three companies recently announced their shipment numbers the "Total Others" numbers are pretty accurate at the moment.
Now, if you look at the past 6 months the PS3 has outsold the XBox 360 by (roughly) 150,000 units in the "Total Others" region which means that if Sony can keep up this "dominance" for more than 3 years they will catch up with the 360 in sales; in the same timeframe the Wii has outsold both consoles by well over 1 Million units which makes it increasingly implausable that the PS3 will even approach the sales of the Wii.
