No one ever doubted this game will look amazing. Got of War 2 looked better than some early ps360 titles...

Hope gameplay isn't as chunky as old gow titles though.

I wouldn't expect that. I don't think American/European game design process can comprehend the level of fine detail found in combat in games like bayonetta, ninja gaiden and other japanese hack and slash games.

As long as its better than Dantes inferno gameplay wise...and visuals are what people say theya re, game is a worthy siccessor to the franchise.

I think the Bayonetta and GOW3 comparisons are silly. these are the reason why:

Bayonetta is like a Michael Mann style video game. Lotsa action but little depth.

GoW3 is like a Ridley Scott film. Epic and with depth and action.

Also, why are we even discussing Bayonetta? This is a God of War 3 thread. If you want to discuss depth, play the game first. And as things are shaping up, it looks every bit as deep to what's currently on the market.
