I don't see where's the greatness in this graphics comparing to HD games...
It looks almost the same as FFXII... |
Only that it has lots more effects, and a HUGE draw distance compared to FF XII.

I dunno about that. Give FF to Bioware and they'll turn it into gold. That company has been blessed with the midas touch for years in the WRPG community.

It kinda looks like Demon's Souls from the Gameplay...
Hopefully this isn't real and when it will be only an experiment and stays as a sequel
We don't need Final Morrowind Demon Effect only because the US People like such stuff more than J-RPGs.

They'll turn it into Dungeons and Fantasies. As much as I love Bioware, this series doesn't have anything to gain from western development. |

Um.... no....Bioware deals in all that is sci-fi and fantasy and Final Fantasy isn't that far off. They deal in anything which can work in the realm of RPG. Final Fantasy can and you will see that as soon as you get your hands on Versus which will pretty much be an Action RPG much like some of their recent hits. Bioware can take any style and turn it into something good. Jade Empire? KOTOR? Mass Effect? Dragon Age? The list goes on and on. You would be surprised, but even the Japanese are starting to see that the west are starting to have better ideas for games, which is why Japan has been getting whipped right, left and center in both quantity and quality. Last gen Japan destroyed in quality and quantity. Bioware is definitely somewhere near the top of the list. Trust me, they know how to work with story driven titles as well.

You may see it and the west may see it, but I just don't... sorry.
While Bioware's games are great (KOTOR is my favorite WRPG), whenever I think of them developing an FF I picture Carth Onasi trying to get it on with Yuna (my main character was female :P) or excessive freedom, or D&D mechanics.
I enjoy WRPGs more than JRPGs these days, but... this looks beyond crappy. If this is real, then say goodbye to Final Fantasy.
And for those saying that Wii could not handle those graphics... it certainly could, but I hope they don't.
