I buy my games on Steam, so I don't need to cut back on anything.

$50 is enough for you to buy dozens of awesome games on Steam.

$4 Mass Effect, $4 Mirror's Edge, $5 Bioshock, etc...

That's pretty much what I'm saying, though. I need to stop buying so many games, and just buy the ones I'm absolutely sure of, so I only buy the fun games. New Super Mario Bros. Wii gave me tons and tons of fun, and still does whenever I pop it in. Same with Punch-Out!!

That's exactly what you should do. Theres no need to buy every single game that you might have a bit of interest in.

I noticed if I buy too many games near the same time, I end up having a hard time wanting to play them all. Like you said, you should focus on the games you really want, then you should have some fun then. Because to me some games feel like a chore.
