Bioshock for example was scored incredibly high, but it was really a remake of System Shock 2 with better graphics/artwork but worse gameplay. My friend and I rented Call of Duty 4, but the lack of a cover system and the stupidly simplistic gameplay made us return it the next day. Not to mention we sat down and beat the campaign in 4 hours (5-6 my ass). For some reason that game is getting 9.5+ scores just for looking great. Ratchet got incredible scores considering it was missing many features from the last R&C game such as online co-op and battles. Plus, it was 5 hours shorter, and much much easier. Super Paper Mario also seemed really over-rated. Not to mention any serious reviewer shouldn't be giving out more than a couple perfect 10s a year at the most. However, Orange Box, Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3, and hopefully Super Mario Galaxy all deserve great scores. |
What is Mario galaxy? Its a remake of super mario 64 with better graphics/ artwork and the gameplay is superior. Bioshock is the exact same as Super mario galaxy but it deserves higher because you like it? Also bioshock ive heard from alot of system shock two fans has alot better gameplay. COD rocks, and im into my 5th hour and i havent beat it. You understand your opinion is NOT fact.
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
