i confirm that the ps3 has destroyed 360 this christmas in france, in my aera (15 stores micromania) in december it was 1400 360 sold for 3600 ps3!!  since the price drop of 360 in january, sales have recovered slightly, but ps3 is still selling better: it's amazing cause 360 it's  149 euros and ps3 is still selling better

I confirm the halo 3 (not odst) and fable 2 bundle for next week. microsoft have to respond very quickly to stay in the race of HD console in france (and many european countries).

honestly, I don't think the 360 will make a come back in france, espacially with games like god of war and gt5...

Very good for Xbox 360. Seems it is not as bad for X360 in Europe as some would have us believe. The sales figures always tell us a different story. PS3 only beat 360 1.5-1, not nearly as bad as some have been claiming.

You right, 600.000 360 is a good number.

But the main problem is that most of the sells have been done before the prize cut.

Since the ps3 is down to 299 euros, the 360 has been crushed. That's why now grosoft cut this time without a rebate the prize to 149 euros for 5 weeks in france.

The trend is in fact very bad the 360, like in japan.

And in one year we will get more sales for France and 360 will do better than people said again.

Also what 360 is 149 Euro? I think you mean Arcade. That is not comparable to a PS3 with a HDD included. I looked on Amazon France, 120GB PS3=282 Euro, 120 GB 360=209 Euro.

I have been reading 360 is totally dead in Europe for 4 years. And the story never changes. It is always doom and gloom for 360. Your post is the same as what I read every year.

 In 2007 people posted here that the trend was very very bad for 360 and 360 would soon be dead in Europe. Now in 2010 sales say X360 sold 2/3 as much as PS3 again. In 2011 the sales will show 360 did well again.

LOL^^ what do you mean its always 360 is doomed? ever since ps3 launched all we saw is ps3 will get discontinued or PS3 is dead.....dont tell me you didn't see those media bashing and fanboys back in 2007 dancing in joy saying PS3 is dead.

I am talking about the people on vgchartz who have been saying 360 is dead in Europe basically since PS3 came out. And yes I have read many of those posts since 2006. Very many in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and now 2010.

This always seems to happen, it's been this way basically every year since 2007.  When Nintendo releases their annual report in April, we'll get full Euro charttrack/gfk figures though, and they'll most likely put 360 in a better light (as they have every year since 2007).
