People are still pre-ordering FF Versus XIII ?

It's barely moved since I started following COMG.  I think it was on 103 points a while ago, now it's on 102.

It's not that people are pre-ordering it, it's just that they're not cancelling their pre-orders.

We think 1 point = 1 pre-order.

How do you expect this game to do in terms of sales ?  If it actually comes out.

Because I have serious doubts about the Final Fantasy brand after FFXIII.

It should easily do around 20-25 each day, with closer to 40 this weekend. So 800 seems plausible.

I think you mean 1k pre-orders, if we're extrapolating to Japan sales as whole, since I doubt anyone cares about COMG specifically. Well, actually, more like any game that finishes with 500 points, we expect to open to around 500k, so not total preorders, exactly. Though, not even that, really. 1 point, just before release, should be on the same scale of mangnitude as 1k sales. So, with 500 points, a game shouldn't open to less than 50k  or more than 5m. Maybe. Of course, Nintenod/casual games have better sales per point and hardcore worse.
