Tomorrow Animal Crossing will be third O.O

WTF AC!!! 100 points in 3 days! Crazy!! But I think it will start to slow down now. Just think that a lot of people have been waiting for months to preorder this game, so once that wave is over, it will go back to unspectacular levels.

Anywho I'll make a comparison with other AC games!

For the DS game, not much data is available. But 25 days before it was at 89 pt. AC 3DS already outpacing it by 6 days at least.  Also the game ended with 340 pt.

Wii version < 51 points. It didn't even show up in the charts till 24 days before release at 51 pt (But it had two versions so it was probably much higher). It also ended with 396 pt.

At this rate, it looks like the 3DS version will end up much higher than the DS and Wii versions. Expected though after the success of the DS game in Japan. With the new features as well, it looks like the real AC sequel to the DS game, unlike the disappointing Wii version. Wouldn't be surprised if it sold more than 500k in its FW. 

Animal Crossing > NSMB 2 Confirmed???

I just think there's been too much mario as well. With SM3D Land still selling well in Japan, there's no "need" for a 2D mario game at the moment. I think NSMB 2 will sell well eventually, and will have good holidays, but there is a shot that AC will outsell it!

Toriko for the 3DS started wth ads today

Since it did great on COMG when on PSP (great on comg, but average on sales), maybe it's one potential candidate for the next wave of games.

The PSP games are actually moving to the 3DS now. Crazy!

It does have a good shot when we look at the DS and see that AC:WW came within 20% of NSMB.

Now with NSMB 2 performing below its predecessor due to the mentionsed reasons, and AC:JO looking to perform better (I hope), the odds are with it. It would be quite amazing considering that any game (besides Pokemon) outselling a 2D Mario game in Japan is almost unheard of.

And I know Amazon doesn't mean much, but Animal Crossing, Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, and NSMB U have very strong showings (NSMB U stronger than NSMB 2). Might be an indicator for what's to come the next week.

I so want a 3ds! But I'll be happy for now getting my wii u soon!

I'm surprised that One Piece Romance Dawn game isn't on the list.
