For example Im a pretty big fan of pokemon but I havent buy another DS because they keep releasing pokemon games on the DS but I give you a point, I would have one another if there was an awesome pokemon special edition ds *.*

Have a lot of Japanese people who bought 360's early on kept them this far into the generation?

It's a fair point though.  If PS3 can manage 27 pre-orders in a day, it's surprising that 360 can't manage 20 pre-orders overall.
