Wow, the new chart is dominated by PlayStation. More PSP than PS3 and Vita though. Which is so opposite the rest of the world.

1 week before release:
NSMB DS: 289 pt (gained 400 points in its last week!)
NSMB Wii: 465 pt (gained 600 points in its last week!)
SM3D Land: 153 pt (gained 110 points in its last week..)
So how will NSMB 2 could follow either NSMB or SM3D Land.. I'd say somewhere in between. Today's numbers should tell us how it will perform.
And DQ at 220 points! Very impressive. Still 10 days left as well. Could end up with 300+ points!
How is Tales of Xillia 2 doing compared to its predecessor? I expect it to have a nearly identical first week (or maybe sell a little less) but slightly higher lifetime sales due to being released during the holiday season giving it a shot at having better legs in its first four/five weeks on the market.
Resident Evil 6 is doing amazingly and will most likely end up as the PS3's biggest title of the year. I wonder if it can become a million-seller like its predecessor... I think it's possible with a re-release in the future but I would be very (pleasantly) surprised if it managed to pull that off with its initial print release.
Persona 4 The Arena is doing pretty well and should move 120k-180k in its opening week which is pretty good for the franchise and surprisingly high for a spin-off. I hope Persona 5 is announced soon.
Is that Super Robot Wars game ever going to be released? Those games sell pretty great in their first week before they drop off; it would make a great December title for the console IMO.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is doing well... surely it's tracking behind its predecessors but it will have amazing legs anyway, not to mention that it will be available digitally. This will move three million copies before the end of the year easily, four million isn't out of the question either if digital sales are included.
Oh and the last thing... Dragon Quest X is doing really bad. I know it's an MMO and therefore lower sales should be expected but not THIS low... I don't know, I was just expecting at least twice as much as this. I hope to be pleasantly surprised by its actual sales just for Square Enix's sake.
Tales of Xillia was at 40 at the same point in time.
The PSP won't die in Japan. Seriously.
No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.
NSMB2 is so cheap... no wonder the software goes to Nintendo handhelds. All those non LE PSP games should be cheaper then 3DS games.
