It's clearly insprired by FFXII though, which isn't a bad thing , because it's the best RPG since FFIX and nothing in the genre has come close to it ever since.

It's puts FFXIII to shame.

FFXII doesn't hold a candle to FF13 or any other FF....or the far better Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion released in its own year, besides you made thread saying you wouldn't buy FF13 because of the Leona Lewis song...so yeah we can see where your priorities lie ROFL.

ps: I brought the limited edition, the collector's guide, did platinum it, and I have already pre-ordered the Chinese edition.

Yes and you still made that thread saying you wouldn't get it because of the Leona Lewis song, that isn't changing.

And why would you get two versions of it, no game deserves two versions of it to be brought, not even MGS4!

I knew that S-E had already made a deal with Leona Lewis's company, and that hey woudn't/ couldn't change it anymore, but as a fan I had to let them know that I wasn't happy with their decission. I know from a guy who works at S-E's helpdesk that they got a lot of hate-mails during those days, also about Star Ocean's timed exclusivity (then exclusive) and Nier Replicant not coming to the west.

It's still a great game, and I will gladly buy the chinese version which will include the Japanese voices + english subs + theme-song's, but it's a fact that it has been worst received main-entry.

I sent thm hatemail too, bt I sent thm after FF12 came out, I vowed id nevr buy FF agen, bt then did buy FF13 in th end.

ff12 ws very badly recieved by public in west & did bad in sales. ff13 is worst recived in critic bt wethr u like it or not th public hs liked th game a lot thts why its sell so well & makes the frnchise relevant aftr the disaster ff12 ws among public recption.

FFXII sold less because it came way to late and it got less marketing than the others, except for maybe FFIX, which also came to late.

And don't confuse your opinion with the public reception of both title's. Every FF has received a lot of hate since FFVII, and that's because the FF fanbase is really diverse and they are all pretty unique in their own way.
