It would actually be incredible if 3DS is just 100k under Vita's launch numbers for the week...that would mean it could outsell it from it's 2nd week on.

While possible, that is not what I was saying . Obviously we both read "what if PSV dont surpass 3DS numbers next week" differently - I read it as "what if PSV doesn't surpass the 3DS next week" (e.g. "what if 3DS next week is 200k and PSV sells less), while you read it as "what if PSV next week doesn't surpass the 3DS numbers this week".

Type-0 ended up with 648 points. The Japan Preview said Type-0 had about 200,000 pre-orders 4 days before release. FF Type-0 had a first week of 486k.

FFXIII-2 looks like it will end with 720 points. The Japan Preview said the game had 330,000 pre-orders 4 days before release.

I can't really come up with a logical conclusion :/

Maybe.. but I don't think the 3DS will drop down that hard. It has MK+SM3D+ seasonal lift + Inazuma to keep it over 300k imo.

Anyways :P 

155 points for Inazuma, so it will probably have 150k-200k FW which is another big opening for the 3DS. I don't know if it will replicate the DS's version of 2 years ago and go close to a million though. 

PS3 has some decent games releasing, and I think that should keep it above the Wii... when was the last time tht the Wii outsold the PS3 anyways?! Maybe the next time will be when DQX releases :P
