Title Points FW

SS 160 ??
ST 106 306k
PH 115 304k

Note: ST ended with 198 points while PH ended with 274. Understandable since ST was released late december when Christmas sales can compensate for low preorders. Anyways SS is on a good rise right now, and hopefully this bodes well for a 300k+ FW.

And as usual MW3 and MH3 doin fantastic!

Edit: @Extreme, I'll leave the Zelda's for you then!

Ok I usually don't do that but I have to say that comgnet is probably not tracking Ni no Kuni correctly. Ni no Kuni has been in the amazon top 100 for 71 days now (more than FFXIII-2, Mario 3DS) and it's currently 6th. How can it be so low despite all that?

The DS version really killed this game.

MW3 is doing mindblowingly well, surpassed all my expectations.

Ninokuni could sell 60k in its first week since Idol M@ster sold that much without appearing on the pre-order charts. That is very low but could leg it out to 200k eventually which is slightly better. Still, I was hoping for so much more from the game :(

FFXIII-2 is doing better than it was in the last few days, I really hope it takes off soon. Has promotion kicked in yet? I don't think 1000+ points is out of the question, if Type-0 is anything to go by, then FF titles usually explode about 10 days prior to release.

Gundam is also doing great, I actually expect a 300k+ opening.

hmm... A new ip that sold 600k copies is not bad at all. At a discounted price? Yes, but still. A lot of games dont reach that amount even with a best release.
And famitsu gave it a 38/40 so quality wise it was not bad at all. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=120354

OT: good numbers for Monhun, hoping to see love plus there soon!

There are a lot of factors that goes against Ni no Kuni PS3.

-  Bad taste for "Level 5" games in PS3 (White Knight Chronicles)

- DS version already available, and some people don't have enough hype to play the game twice

- According to DS gamers, the game was great, but didn't have anything new for JRPG. So it's not the super game that everybody should play

- A high price for the game: 8.800 yen. It's one of the most expensive games in PS3

- Maybe the target of this game (kids) are not there, in PS3

Otherwise, there's still some hope. Level 5 games trend to don't get so much preorders and open higher that the pt that they get in COMGNET, like most Nintendo games. For example, Ni no Kuni DS finished with 146pt and opened at 170.548. Higher! Little Battlers eXperience PSP finished with 115pt and opened at 166.187. Higher too! And the same for Inazuma Eleven games. That's why they're not in the chart either.

So we can expect an opening around 80-100k.

I disagree with that, Idol Master is more casual so it will tend to have less preorders. Ninokuni isa jrpg which tends to be pretty frontloaded, so low preorders is not good for it at all. It will struggle to do 100k at this rate, unless of course i end up wrong :P

i for one am very happy Ninokuni is going to fail

Level 5 is the most overrated games developer on the planet, they haven't made a good JRPG since Dark Cloud and the only good game they have is Layton.

Not to mention the only "good JRPG" they did manage to make were DQIX & DQVIII but they were both under direction of the legendary DQ creator and S-E for those so I don't count them as "their accomplishments" as it's too much of a coincidence.

Japan has to wait 10 more days for Zelda, and I only for 7 days.
