Looks like people are cancelling the standalone version for the better bundle version? Looks like MH3G has a bunch of different SKUs.

Since there is another version, it is possible that actually preorders are increasing...in total :P
However, some posts ago I said that, even if MH3G ends with the same points of Tri on Wii, it is possible that it sells much more at launch?
Why?
1)We are talking about an hardware launched 7 months ago in Japan. So, the userbase is low for obvious reasons (even if now it is rising at a very quick pace)... but above all, the number of owners who actually preorder the game in stores such as Comgnet is low.
So, this means that the ratio between the number of points collected on Comgnet and the actual sales is much higher than when a console has a solid userbase.
We have had examples in the past months for 3DS....and the last is Kagura: 50pts...and even a bit more than 50k sold.
Or One Piece (90pt - 80k).
When the userbase is low, there are fewer "core" gamer preordering games and much more buying it without preordering, maybe even buying the console with it.
2) 3DS is growing a lot in these weeks, with high weekly sales that have rised (from 50k to 60k, then to 70k )...and even Kagura provided a boost, as reported by various retailers. So, it has a great momentum, and when MH3G will be out, it will do awesome numbers. The higher the consoles sold = the higher the software sold, especially in the first phases of life of a console

So, how much will it do IMHO?
I think it will do 1000-1100pts, and it will debut between 800k and 900k, and a LTD of 2-2,2 millions... being in this phase will give it some serious legs.
