Looks like Fist of the North Star Musou won't fail miserably.

Yes, it'll "fail" in the same way Gundam Musou and Sengoku Musou 3 did...

if considering only units sold but not against expectation (I'm guessing 400K-500K), it would be a big success... However, considering KOEI expected to sell 1 mil in Japan alone and it sells only half of that, I would say it fails miserably.



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

no, they just have unrealistic expectations.  DW gundam was supposed to sell a million too, and they still made the sequel on ps3.  I think they really know in their mind it won't sell that much, that is how much DW games would sell when they were at the height of their popularity, not anymore.

I'm not worried, I think it'll match MGS4 in Japan.  It's outside Japan that Konami should be worried, especially as the game started out as MGS5 and has a console sized development team and cycle...

You think PW will sell 800k+ in Japan? I'm not so sure.
