One doesn't have to be an Einsteain to discover that stationary console obviously is console that isn't designed as portable for example PS3, Wii, X360.

And lol at wishfull thinking PS3 has proven it countless times that it can sell tons of software in Japan as well as in the west and has been jrpg console of choice for almost every japanise company in past two years.

I've never heard of someone calling them "stationary consoles" before.

The Wii has also proven it can sell MH in both Japan and the West with MH3.

You don't think MH will sell more on ps3 compared to Wii in Jp and West?

but Japan? I don't think it's even a question of 'could' tbh. Heck put some PSp/PS3 connectivity aspect in the game and

It's not like they couldn't do Wii-3DS connectivity, or even Wii 2 (whenever that's out)-3DS.

yeah but for now they don't have a solid install base on the DS or 3DS for that matter

I think the next MH should be PS3 with PSp connectivity or a PSP/2 game....but then again I will end up getting both PSP2 and 3DS so it should be fine either way for me :P, but some HD MH action should be fun, FPS multiplayer games are getting too boring now

It's not like they couldn't do Wii-3DS connectivity, or even Wii 2 (whenever that's out)-3DS.

yeah but for now they don't have a solid install base on the DS or 3DS for that matter

I think the next MH should be PS3 with PSp connectivity or a PSP/2 game....but then again I will end up getting both PSP2 and 3DS so it should be fine either way for me :P, but some HD MH action should be fun, FPS multiplayer games are getting too boring now

The 3DS and PSP2 should be out by the time a new MHP comes along.

True, and if the MH is a handheld, they should ideally go multi plat, or if PSP2 is backwards compatible, go PSP2/PSP route for most sales

I do hope they do one for PS3 tho, it's way overdue
