DQX appeared, at least.

With the last game at 15pt and many games leaving the chart, the bar is gonna be very low. How many points will the last game have? Anything could appear at this point.

Many PSP games leaving, let's hope from some more variety now.

It's the game that nobody wanted, and nobody deserves! No seriously you can get the Wii version for free at Tsutaya.

Square Enix! Please be excited!

(DQX was actually directly cited as one of the factors resulting in the huge losses for the company, it is a disaster)

Maybe they should've stayed away from making the game an MMO. SE never seems to learn...

Eh, poor for DQ but at least it showed up...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Not that the player base is that big anyway, most servers are deserted and the entire population failed an event a while back to kill a million slimes

The event lasted 10 days and if you haven't played DQ before, Slimes are common enemies. 100,000 players killing 10 each would clear it...

Yeah why SE decided to make it an MMO is beyond me..

But it's working out SO well for them, isn't it?

Yeah, this looks like yet another attempt at that sweet, sweet subscription money from XI blowing up in their faces, just like with FFXIV.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21

:D

DQX barely made it, if it falls from the char, well, a further embarrasement. Still, wondering if anybody is actually expecting something from this one.

Time to whip out that 'pathetic' word, again:

Those DQX pre-orders are pathetic.

Square Enix! Please be excited!

(DQX was actually directly cited as one of the factors resulting in the huge losses for the company, it is a disaster)

Would you care to show me where did they said that?

All I'm getting is:

Factors Causing the Revision
The Company forecasts that actual business results from its Digital Entertainment Segment substantially fall below its plan primarily due to slow sales of major console game titles in North American and European markets. The Company is
also experiencing sluggish performance of its arcade machine business. In addition to these factors, the Company expects to incur extraordinary loss about loss from restructuring in the settlement of the account for its fiscal year ending March 31, 2013, as
described below.
And in their last financial results report they said that:
The operation of “DRAGON QUEST X” a major MMORPG, started in August, 2012, has been showing steady progress.
Of course that's PR, but that's quite far from a disaster.
Additionally, going by their slides of the Briefing session for the revisions, the Net Sales from MMO changed just a small amount, contrary to the more notable reductions in "HD games", and "Social games and others".

the last of us should be the highest new entry. further maybe dragons crown for the ps3. strange that the last of us is not in the list. it is nr one on amazon

So what games are likely to chart tomorrow?

Take your pick from any of Baldr's lists:

Honestly, I feel like it's anyone's guess really.

Gundam Breaker (PS3); Amnesia Crowd (PSP); PhotoKano Kiss (PSV), Disney Magic Castle (3DS)... maybe one of those?  I dunno really.

The Last of Us has remained top on amazon.jp for much longer than I expected, too.
