No wonder I've never seen this chart used on any Japanese networks before. |
then which others chartz are used in japan? we could bring them and used some comparations and average to make a more accurate prediction of sales?

Let's wait the translation.
PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

PS Vita用オリジナルデザイン保護フィルム(壁紙付き)
Original design protective film for PS Vita (with wallpaper). It's just like the bonus that came with Persona 4, a skin to stick to the front panel.

There aren't any official preorder charts with national numbers. The main resources are Media Create and Famitsu for weekly sales figures, Tsutaya and Amazon for rankings. http://gamedatamuseum.web.fc2.com/ is also nice for past sales data.

Man I really want a firm release date for kingdom hearts in the west, And im starting to think maybe SS will do more than I had originally thought.
My first prediction was 50k even though its low on COMG I think it might do above 60k...Just a hunch.
Is anyone else blown away by Sword Art Online charting so well? I don't know about the light novels, but I found the anime to be somewhat generic with a story that wasn't the most imaginative thing in the world, and ended up dropping it. Is it really that popular in Japan?

I didn't like it either, but yeah it's gotten popular. A lot more than the author's other work Accel World that's for sure.
COMG's sales might be an outlier though, SAO hasn't been in the top 10 on Amazon for weeks and finally made it back into the top 20 recently.

That's pretty much exactly how I felt about it. I just didn't feel compelled to finish the series at all. But I'm not surprised that it's doing so well, considering how popular the series is.
