Having a delay like that, would solve the lag problem caused by internet connections.

Well, A trailer cleared everything up. Its not on rails, may be limited to a certain path, but you can do whatever you want on that path. Further the game has seemingly been delayed to March from the last screen. This coupled with the demos that Nintendo are releasing bode well for some serious marketing push from Nintendo of Japan in the coming months. The trailer was good and I am excited.
