I'm buying both versions. Since I'm pretty sure I'll play the game more than once.

I'll tell you this much, assuming trophies = achievements in this game, it's gonna be a touch one!
well I only have one option so it's the 360 for me.

My fellow gamer, you make no sense. Do you realize your second reply to this post totally contradict your first? Dumb, in my opinion, is not play multiplatform games on your preferred platform, and also miss games like Uncharted 1&2, Killzone 2, MGS4, Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, God of War 3, etc. Do you still think i wasted money on a PS3 just for its exclusives? Ok then.
PS: some people don't think before posting.

Surely people will get it on their main gaming console(assuming you have both)? If that's 360 then you get it there, if its PS3 then you get that.
Obviously 360 only owners will get it for 360 just as PS3 only owners will get it for PS3 - there is no sane reason to do otherwise.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
I can get it on both systems but I won't. Bwahahahaah!

This thread obviously applies to dual HD owners only cause if you only have one of the HD consoles and plan to buy FFXIII its quite obvious which system you'll buy it for.
However if the OP were to also ask how many single HD owners are going to purchase the other HD console for FFXIII that'd be a little different.
I love it when people try to defend the reason why they are getting a multiplat game on one console and not the other.
"I love disc-swapping" is the best yet.
I bet that person is disappointed that x360 has a DVD drive and not just CD.
I bet that person is hoping the x720 keeps it's current DVD drive so they can enjoy even more disc-swapping in the furure.
The truth is many people will get it on a particular console because they are partial to that console.
Another truth is that some people don't have a choice because they only own one system.
Either way enjoy it.
I will get the PS3 version but I don't need to bigup the PS3 version and put down the x360's or v.versa.

Haha that's funny, but wrong

Even if I did have a PS3, I'd still get the 360 version for the acheivements. Many people are probably getting the PS3 so that all their FFs are in the "same family", but I'm getting the xbox version due to my jrpg collection. It looks very nice all lined up together :) |
See that's where I'd disagree with you. I don't like the Neon green X-Box game boxes. I think they look childish and loud. I have a bunch of RPG's for 360 but I also think one bluray is aestheticly more pleasing then 3 scratch prone DVD's. Not to mention since all of my friends have ditched XBL for PSN achievements are worthless to me. Also the cutscenes and audio have been watered down for the 360 version and the 360 is loud as hell and sometimes- seriously- that really bothers me. So basicly there's no chance in hell I'm getting the 360 version.
