I'm 100% sure it's just a tracking error. Parts of the sales aren't registered in the tracking system due to miscommunication or some other error.

b4 the holidays it was selling like 20k-30k weekly then come the biggest shopping day where games gets a boost KZ2 didn't? and it's selling lower than 3 year old games?

I know what to expect when I bought it lot of people says the controls are hard. Damn! the first time I try the online a part month ago I was annoyed because I can't aim properly sometime it took me a whole magazines just to kill one player but when I get used to the controls sometimes ranking number one on online matches. Man! the sheer pleasure of it. It was pure bliss. Simply love it. It's a pity that not all gamers are like me or those who've enjoyed the game that have patience to learn the controls and get better with it.

TsIT's doing well when comparing it to other games compare it to other games 2nd instalment. Eg look at COD 2. It sold around 2 mil by there 2nd one and now look at COD. By the time kz has realased a number 3 or 4 it should be doing around 4 mil I think.

yeah, KZ2 sales are bit disappointing ( 2 million is great) but the hype suggested better sales, may be that's due to the controls, no co-op, lame story ....... i have seen a wish list for KZ3 and apparantly many things need to be fixed in KZ2 to be as appealing as other shooters.
But the game looks awesome, i am getting a copy very soon.

Maybe it's time for Sony to roll out the ol' "Greatest Hits" package and price drop.

finally this is possible, I mean I just blame MW2 completely. When you have one FPS that just overshadows everything else this is going to happen, I mean MW2 led to other games sales in other genre's being lower as they weren't picked up, imagine what it did to KZ2 sales

Weird sales huh? anyhu, just to make some people feel better, I bought myself another copy of Killzone2 (gave my 1st copy away to my nephew) and then bought 3 more copies (2 for my friends and one for my gf's brother).

HMV is selling the Platinum addition for £12.99 brand new so it aws easily affordable.

What many of you say is true; it is hard for COD fans to get into it. My mate and his nephew came over to play Killzone2 when I first bought it on release but they couldn't get into it and hated it with a passion. 2 weeks ago they came over again and they were watching me play it. Since then, not only did they come over every other day just to play it, but my mates nephew went out and bought a PS3 specifically for the Killzone2 mutiplayer. Then he went and convinced his friends to do the same and now I have 8 extra people to play Killzone2 mp with.

KZ2 is like an average woman. She has a lot to offer but you cannot see her for the amazing woman she is. You are blinded by the easy to shag tarts. However, once you spend sometime with her and get to know her, you will begin to love her for all she is and see the real beauty which goes deeper than the skin and realise, you never want to touch another tart again for killzone 2 is the best you will ever get.
