I for one would like to see him come back as soon as possible to liberate Squaresoft from Wada's clutches, we have seen nothing but bad decision after bad decision from that man, he must be stopped before he killes off every SE franchise!

I bet you he want's to stop making Final Fantasy, I can see it in his eyes, he said the other day that they need to westernise and that they must move towards new franchises, he continually screws over the fans, especially PS3 fans concerining the mockery that is FFXIII.

It'd be great if he could return, but it's obvious that it's not going to happen. I do agree that the lack of his presence has really ruined what Final Fantasy was.

I think Sakaguchi had all of the genius that made Square what it was, SE wouldn't exist if not for him, even if you do believe he was responsible for nearly barkrupting the company.

Uematsu is talented for sure, but thats it, he is not the visionary that Hironobu is and I think that Sakaguchi is probably the only person in the world who can save SE from where it is heading.

Does anyone know what he is working on at the minute, he might be free!

Sakaguchi should come back, find the FF team, and leave with them and call themselves Squaresoft HA! (even though that wouldn't work, I can dream can't I?)

I doubt he had any guilt of his own, others made him feel guilty, it probably got too much & he left.
