Sony trying to get Casuals to play GT5? Even though the game's already slated to sell like crazy, if well implemented, it could really popularize the wand. Sony using their anticipated tech to push new tech confirmed?
GEM support? God I hope that's not the reason I'll have to wait yet another year for my soon to be favorite racing game to arrive.
If it is, well, that's beyond stupid. Motion controls in a car simulator?! "You have move the GEM to shift gears and turn the wheel!"
Guess what? I'd rather use an actual wheel.

Yeah, I don't understand how Gem could possibly be used effectively in a racing game.
If you want motion controls, I'm pretty sure tilt steering is already supported by Prologue.

gem could (potentially) have better tilt steering.
anyways, doesn't gem require to be processed via the ps3 hardware,...GT would probably have to take the graphics down a notch in order to support it. i'm doubting this idea very much.
They must be adding a few cars, 'cause 1000+ ain't enough.

No, the delay is just because they are jealous of Duke Nukem Forever, they want that crown!

Maybe if you didn't mind holding the wand up with one hand so that the PSEye can see it clearly. Awkward to use both hands without obscuring the magic glowing ball at the heart of Gem's technology.
Perhaps Sony could make a Gem Wheel which would be easy for the PSEye to track.
