God, I *adore* Viewtiful Joe! I recently got Madworld too, but haven't played that one yet, too busy! So can't say anything about it. But viewtiful Joe 2's even better than 1, imo! Awesome game!

Also, VJ DS is underrated! It's the 3rd game, so the OP is wrong, the original VJ got 2 sequels! It's also by clover, y'know.

Games, TV shows, and other media usually have a cooldown period of anywhere from two weeks to 2 months where people will go from almost obsession-like fandom back to reality.

Still, I somehow doubt everyone voting has played all four games so the poll is more or less meaningless anyway.

Its real intent is as a jumping-off point for conversation

To me Clover has done nothing but improve over time and they raised the bar for action games with Bayonetta, freshness aside, its obvious the improvements they've made with the game that set that new bar for the genre, it simply IS what action games must live up to now.

Viewtiful Joe being a much different exception since it's a side scrolling beat em up with much different gameplay, that rules 2D action, while Bayonetta rules 3D.

I should really play God Hand.

It is really super duper. At first the camera and method of controls - tank-like, with the camera fixed behind you - feels restrictive, but when you realize how the combat was built around it, the whole game opens up spectacularly.
