God, I *adore* Viewtiful Joe! I recently got Madworld too, but haven't played that one yet, too busy! 
So can't say anything about it. But viewtiful Joe 2's even better than 1, imo! Awesome game! 
Also, VJ DS is underrated! It's the 3rd game, so the OP is wrong, the original VJ got 2 sequels! It's also by clover, y'know.
