in both cases I think 360 ones will sell more

Really? You think 2 established franchises in popular genres that have sold millions of copies and were well reviewed and are very much looked forward too will have higher sales than 2 new IP's in 2 non mainstream genres (MAG = Online only huge team gane, solo play non existent) Daaaaarrrrtthhhhhh.

Gee darth ever since you bombed you UC2 prediction youve been taking the easy road, huh!

No no no, this is the new algorithm that I formed from the collection of data from a multitude of sources ranging from the antarctic to hawai, all the way to germany. Through months of research and hardwork I have finally designed a new secret, perfect equation. This equation will ensure equality, justice and faith towards each component of predictions from now on. I call it the satisfactorily fairness justice constant, SFJC for short. This will ensure predictions made will have 2 variables that can be specifically manipulated to be in certain ranges which results in the predictor never being wrong!

Yeah 360 wins both of those head to heads. But the games really aren't competing in the same space so it's not like the PS3 games are going to be drowned out, that's the great thing about exclusives on consoles with decent install bases. You really don't need to worry about the competition's exclusives. I don't see any of these games as meaningful hardware sellers.

Where are those US pre-order charts? last one we saw had pretty decent pre-orders for MAG. I wanna see what the pre-orders are like now for all these games, it would certainly help inform any discussion here.

Just a thought: would it be possible to make pre-order numbers a game page feature, next to the region's release date, even if some had N/A. pre-order number would need to have a "current as at" date so people would know how old the data is. Seems VGC gets reasonable pre-order info for USA and Japan.

I m the only one to know SCC and ME2 will be released on PC too ...

I m the only one to know that you dont need a 360 to play them ...

NOTE : SCC is not really a stealth game, it is more a stealth Action game compared to the past SC

fine... but what does that have to do with this thread?

if I follow the thread title, it is about exclusivity. If it is about exclusivity you can come with the HD WAR : ps3 vs 360

at this moment, you realize ME and SCC are releazed on PC too and you can't really argue they are exclusive (that follow some recent forum rules that said "if it is on PC then it is not exclusive")

of course, you can also come with the software sales but then, considering each game is releazed on 1 different system (PS3 OR 360) then there is no software war because most of the user have a PS3 OR a 360 (estimation)

At the end, it makes me wonder if it is really important that games released on different system are released the same day ... ?

side note : at best, it shows both console are getting spread support in early 2010

Online only is not THAT niche anymore since Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.

Did I mention that I can't wait for Alan Wake?

Since when are L4D and L4D2 online only? I thought each had a single player campaign.

campaign was basically coop only. Okay, since you like to split hairs, Left 4 Dead was 95% online.

They do have an offline mode, but nobody really cares about them, they are based around playing in co-op

Whether they care about it or not, it isn't online only.

Plenty of people play local co-op.
