Throughout the modern history of mankind humans have had an increasing influence on the genetics and evolution of other animals; and I would say that our influence has resulted in different (not necessarily better or worse) animals. On one side of the spectrum we have animals we selectively breed with the desire to have particular traits, and in the past century many of these animals have seen vast differences in the traits we’re looking for because they have gone from being working animals to pets; and this will eventually lead to different animals than would have evolved without the influence of man. At the opposite end of the spectrum humans both cause the extinction of species and protect other species from extinction which will inevitably change the composition of the biosphere.

We've managed to teleport atoms! :D That's about it so far though. lol

and we've had flying cars since before I was born. They may not look or be or perform anything like you would expect, but we do have them. I believe that they will NEVER become mainstream ever.....ever.
