^This. Nothing can touch that.

lol not that vid. i dont see the point in them to up the graphics when 95% of the players cant castle seige with out shift+f12  (for those you who havent played aion before what that does is make all the players invisable and only able to see their names). Yes lets makeit where they cant even seige at all! also after playing many mmo's i learn to never be hyped on tese whats going to be ingame in ur future videos cuz their only so u keep paying to see this stuff that will be added a year at least later or half of it wont even make it in game.

the problem it's not the graphics, there is no lag until everybody start spamming skills, even 3400 series card can run aion on high 1600x900.

aion only problem it's lack of instances at lvl 50.

I rather runescape from WoW because if I am ever away on holidays and don't have my PS3 with my I can just open up any computer with an internet connection and play it without having to download/install gb's of data.

I bet it will be fun. I enjoyed the first one. It does not stand a snowballs chance in hell at dethroning WoW.

I can but not on a single game. This, and 5 x 180 = 900

Can you change the poll answer "No" to "Lol! No"

If a person is a serious WoW gamer...they should be getting the 6-month subs for $77.  Saves a few $$$, and keeps you from worrying about this every month.  I think WoW is going to drop to $10 a month in the next few years after more MMOs hit and start to chip away at WoW's dominance.

I forgot they were making a full sequel finally to GW, and now its actually going to be a MMO unlike GW's instance only missions, and its gonna' be free!

Everyone thought Aion was gonna finally take down the MMO giant that is WoW, but it failed, true Aion has style, but it lacks class. oh and theres still that monthly fee...

So since GW2 is gonna be free, do you think we may now have a major contender for WoW finally out of hundreds that continue to fall short?

Nope. The market doesn't work by ways of better. It works under the principles of is it good enough for what I want and did it come first. I know GW2 is not out, but I can say that I have played it before. You make a fantasy hero with stats, class, skills, talents.... kill things and complete quests for XP to level and rewards for gear. Max out your level then begins big raids for better stuff. It's the same game with a different skin. Thus an already existing game is there and thus the new kid isn't going to replace it.

If an MMORPG wants to dethrone WoW it needs to do something that WoW doesn't do or can't do. Much like WoW doing something that EQ didn't do. Well designed, easy to play and reward players. EQ and it's ilk of the time didn't do anything near as good as being easy to play.

So what makes anyone think that GW2 which is supposed to play like the WoW design going to dethrone WoW?

Heres what I want from an MMORPG. A Role Playing Game in the sense that it's meant to rewards ROLEPLAYING not combat simulation. RolePlaying games are about playing a Role and choosing actions based on the Role. Theres nothing like it in the world of MMORPGs. No MMORPG rewards RPing a role.

GW2 overthrow WoW. Hell no

The first Guild Wars had an awesome world. But I never got to explore places like Maguuma jungle in the original. It was all about progressing and PvP, no exploring and role playing and leveling and getting cool skills.

If all that is fixed, I will gladly buy GW2, because I will never pay a subscription for any game, not even a Blizzard game, and considering how big a Blizzard fan that I am, that's really saying something.

why not??you get what you pay for. An world that is always growing,a massive user base ,100's of dungeons and raids and amazing depth in terms of everything really. oh and not to mention the best customer support in the world.

For the same reason that I always only buy the 'must have' games for consoles and the games with long replayability and nothing else. I don't like spending lots of money on gaming. It's not that I can't afford it, it's just that usually I have more important things to spend money on.

what,you cant spare 15dollars a month??

15 dollars a month will grow, especially if I like the game and play it for many years. In the end I might find that all the money I spend on wow could have bought me all next gen systems once they arrive. for just one year those 15 dollars becomes 180. If I play it for three years it's 540, more than a PS3 costs now, and if I played it since the wow launch it will become even more.

Why should I spend such sums on a single game when I have games like Starcraft and Diablo and pokémon that all have entertained me since they launched and only cost me the same amount as a normal game.

Guild Wars will probably have enough content to keep me entertained as long as wow, and won't end up having costed me more than I think is fair for a game.
