It'll probably reach 3 million, in time. I'd be surprised if it didn't. It has to at least outsell Wii Music.

Good for Uncharted 2 =) Guys, buy a ps3 with Uncharted 2 - it is referenz, the best 2009!

Ps: Best exclusives is Metal Gear Solid 4, i think. (Game + Sales)

I think getting somewhere around 5 million is a pretty safe bet at this point.

I'm pretty sure he is talking about all PS games, not just PS3. U2 may be the fastest selling Sony first-party game on the PS3, but not of all Sony first-party games (the PS1 and PS2 say hello).

It is.

Hence, fastest selling Sony first party game on the PS3.

GT1, GT2, GT3, and GT4 all sold faster than that, and I'm pretty sure the Crash games did as well (they were only semi first party though)

I know it sold 28k last week, but it sold ~5k per week last year during the slower months. I know that Uncharted 2 may push it up a bit, but I really can't see it staying at 10k for a long period of time. Maybe long enough to pass 3 million by mid-February, but I'd expect U:DF to break 3 million more around the end of February, beginning of March period (unless we get some adjustments pushing it up/down to date).

The below is why Uncharted sold 28k last week, and it's also why it should sell much better than 5k a week for at least a few months. :P

They didn't come out in the US until December 26th.  It's a great deal.  Most people won't pass up a game and a controller for only $5 more than a controller by itself, and this will help more people get to know the Uncharted franchise, which will lead to more sales for Uncharted 2.
