I want EVERY SINGLE game that fanboys imply are game changers, and will make a big difference in the console wars, to do less sales than they expect, so they STFU. I am up for them doing well, and making a profit, but not moving a single console. I don't want flops, I just want consoles sales not to change. To this end I guess this would include the likes of:
Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Alan Wake, Halo: Reach, Bayonetta, EyePet, and Agent.

On the other side, I hope the Vitality Sensor happens to become another WiiFit, causing millions of stressed executives to buy Wiis to relax, so that core gamers who hate casual players get to eat crow. Oh yes, and I hope that both Natal and the Wands happen to permanently put motion control on the map, so that people who won't get out of their chairs  have to get up and move to play.

I wouldn't really think like that, unless something I felt was a virtual crime against the medium was selling millions - luckily that doesn't seem to happen with games that much.

However, I would really, really like to see Transformers 3 make a loss - because Transformers 2 was a crime against the medium of cinema.

I'd probably agree with that - I mean, I didn't even see it so I feel I can't fairly comment, but assumptively yeah, it does sound equally awful, perhaps even more so.

I'm sure I could think of more movie examples, I'm just glad that while some big selling games seem overrated, etc. on occasion, it does seem very rare that a game that is comparitively awful based on the standards of the medium would be hugely successful.

I would like any game using the Wii vitality sensor to flop... Nintendo needs to concentrate on new Zelda and Other M!
