Actually, the time of the Great War takes place before the Titans were imprisoned by Zeus. This is a long time before the events of even GOWII, since in both GOWI and GOW2 you see titans imprisoned (Cronos in 1, Atlas in 2).

Kratos is going to reshape the history of the Greek Mythology before it has a chance to even happen.

This would mean that ARES and Athena are ALIVE !

Time travel is confusing....Kratos brought the titans to the future when they were about to lose..thats what I think anyway....Think it'll be more clear to us on the 16th...

Anyway...what colour were Kratos' tattoos before they were red ?

Not necessarily. Whether the Titans disappeared or were banished to Tartarus is of little consequence. The point is that they were gone, and the Olympians took power. Greece went to war with Persia, Kratos fought and almost died, and he made a pact with Ares and became the servant of the Gods, then killed Ares and took his position, then later killed Athena.

Except...With no Cronus, did Pandora's Temple ever exist? And the whole nature of time travel suggests that the time travel itself was part of the normal flow of time, and...oh god(s), this is confusing.

i keep wondering if they make Kratos lose his Powers again that he got in God of War 2 or if they just let him go on getting even Stronger.

to judge from the Demo i think they make him at least lose most of his weapons.

...besides, shouldn't there be 2 Kratos? He kinda saved himself from Zeus in Part 2 and we never found out what happened to the other one

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Wild guess, based on my knowledge of Olympus: Zeus, Poseidon, Artemis, Apollo, Hera. Hades has no seat on Olympus, and Ares and Athena are dead. Nobody really liked Hephaestos or Hestia, and Aphrodite is a whore.

EDIT: In fact, Hestia gave her seat to Aphrodite, and Demeter was probably off planting flowers or some such thing.

He probably would have been destroyed by the space-time continuum. Only one instance of a person can exist at any given time.

Loooool :P

I have a question now:

In what time lapse will the action of GOWIII take place, before or after the events of GOW and GOW2?

This is kinda tricky...

After God of War - Thats for sure...

And the before certain events of God of War II but after the intial hour or so (when Zeus betrays Kratos).

"Two of the gods lie dead, and I wield the Blade of Olympus!"

This can only refer to Athena and Ares, really. Which means it takes place after GoW2.

The question still remains -

What are the four sub-weapons used by Kratos in God of War 1 and II ? (Hint : 1 in GoW and 3 in GoW 2)

Typhon's Bane, Spear of Destiny, Barbarian Hammer and Blade of Artemis

Typhon's Bane is a spell.

The fourth is the Blade of Olympus.

i would agree, if this was science fiction, but this is mythology

but i guess the other one had to go on doing what Kratos did to get where he was when he came back

Answer these question and post your own questions about God of War ! These are pretty easy...

GoW3ever's God of War Quiz

1. What is the name given to the combo Square,Square,Triangle in GoW 1 ?

Plume of Prometheus Correct

2. Who is the architect of Pandora's Temple ?

Pathos Verdes III (fixed)

3. What are the secret keys you find in Pandora's Temple called ? Muse Keys

4. What are the 3 challenges of Pandora's temple ?

Challenge of Atlas, Challenge of Poseidon, Challenge of Hades

5. The Colossus of Rhodes is based on the God...

Hephaestos? Nope, Helios

6. Who are the 3 Sisters of Fate ?

Klotho, Atropos, Lakhaesis (sp?) Yes !

7. Who is the youngest God of the 1st generation ?

Aphrodite She's 2nd gen...Its Zeus

8. Who is the 3rd gorgon sister ?

Medusa. Since you never specified who the other two were, that's a correct answer. Alternatively, Euryale.

This question is related to the game...We already fought 2 gorgons, I'm asking who the third is. Medusa is in the 1st game, Euryale is in the 2nd game...In the 3rd we will face Stheno

9. Name 2 types of enemies you'll face in God of War III that you haven't faced in the previous games ?

Manticores (I think that thing was a manticore) Its called a chimera, manticore is a red coloured lion with wings and a tail that can shoot arrows.. and Centaurs. Centaurs were in the 1st game (briefly), correct answer is the huge dude with the hammer, named Brute

10. Who is the horse keeper in God of War II ?

Theseus True

Let me rephrase that question,

In the final cutscene of God of War II, when Kratos was screaming like a mad man on Gaia's back, there were 5 gods, including Zeus watching the titans climb Mount Olympus. Who are the other four Gods ?
