This is common for ALL CONSOLES.

I use to shop at a game specific shop. Guess what the general stores here in Aus are usually like $10-$20 cheaper for new releases and they have more variety ON ALL CONSOLES.

I buy all my stuff form general stores now Wii, PS3 etc..

unless you believe that people that were previously buying core games are now just buying casual games and the reason is because of the wii then it doesn't make sense.
