Why does every exclusive (console or not) always have to be compared to another Platforms exclusive?

why can't it just be compared to Halo 3 maybe? It would make so much more sense comparing games from the same Platform, and it would avoid much of these bickering.

Who thinks this looks better then Halo 3?

I was showing the forums that the ones disregarding the graphics are PS3 fans in this thread. Textures look bland? Cmon. The detail is brilliant. And it's alpha footage.

@ Slimebeast. Yeah graphics do look beyond what consoles may achieve this gen from this PC footage. For example 62x AA. But hopefully they get as close as possible with the 360. For a start the 360 is capable of Dynamic global occlusion lighting and this would be the first game to have natural Tone lighting to. In fact this game may have a first along with Alan Wake for alot of lighting effects.

The graphics are nothing I haven't seen before. Textures are bland and its just really not got much detail.

really? Because I noticed an attention to detail Ive not seen in games yet. Like a simple chicken wire meshing across the fence. It actually had modelled 3d texture work on the mesh. Now in no game have I yet seen that level of detail in the texture work. Hopefully the 360 can include that to. Obviously some things will be dropped, but hopefully it keeps the amazing attention to detail found in these videos. The textures look amazing.

Killzone 2, Crysis, Bioshock and MW2 all look better. If we allow other games, then Uncharted 1 + 2 also look better. 

 

LOL. Ok tell yourself that. Actually, I just read through some of the comments from videos on Youtube from Feb 2009 Metro 2033 videos. Before anyone knew it was coming to 360 and originally was a PS3 exclusive. It's funny. Loads of PS fans are there read it yourself. " Best graphics ever" "Take that 360 fanboys" Wish your 360 could do this" "KZ2 has met it's match"

LOL. Then you start seeing "It's ok" "Gonna be crap anyway" etc etc etc in November and December. LOL After PS3 lost it and 360 gained it.

Oh how the world goes round.

I didn't even know about this game back in February.

Fair enough. But it was just pure coincidence then that the 2 people in this thread who think the graphics arent amazing just good are non 360 owners. And happen to be PS3 owners, or known pro Sony owners. When Metro 2033 is considered a fantastic realtime engine.


I dont have any prefrence to any console, i like the one that's good for the moment. And i thought the graphics was like Medal of Honor, i.e okay. So what if 2 (TWO) people said it was okay at best. Why would you start derailing your own thread and making this to a "Oh Sony fans are crap, always out to bash the 360"-thread. You said it yourself... Two people. TWO. Seriously.
