I recently watched the Lord of the rings trilogy (extended edition), ive seen the series a few times now but it never gets old. A franchise like no other, probably the greatest achievement in cinema. The greatest battle scene in the Two Towers, amazing soundtrack and a great cast.

Sadly I did not have the pleasure of watching this series in the cinemas, I discovered the greatness of the series on dvd. Probably the best cinema experience one can experience.

Viggo Mortenses should have been nominated for an Oscar, his perfomance in the series is outstanding.

Who else loves this fantastic trilogy????

I really loved The Lord of The Rings, until the end of the Third one, that ruined it for me

Great movies, too bad you didn't get to see them in the theater though, totally transcendant experience, man.

I prefered the books. My favourite is two towers..Especially at the end...When I watched/read number three I was getting tired of it.
