Is Sony really feeling the heat of demand now?
I would imagine that they are since the console is in demand a lot more than a lot of us anticipated let alone them! It also looks like Sony are going to easily make their 13 Million consoles shipped figure before 31st of March
Its been allot more than three days I been checking for a week now also on Gamestop.com it's backordered and Bestbuy.com aswell.

It's really that bad?
I don't think even Sony expected this, they said they had plenty of stock and they wern't going to run out.

perhaps its the lowest selling one because of the low stocks?
and unlike another console, PS3 is actually popular in all 3 regions and is selling more weekly..

Good for Sony and bad for Sony, they have been doing this for 15 years they should have known what to expect.
It will still outsell X360 again on a worldwide basis, I just hope these shortages don't mess things up for my bet, losing a bet because of shortages would be bad
it's the future of handheld

if thats what you ment about it being messy that argument is invalid..
the rest is not taking a pun its a huge reason why sudden PS3 demand has been so high that supply arround the world has been on a low side.. if japan suddenly didn't need any PS3s the stock for America would be fixed.. see what I did there?
