Forums - Gaming Discussion - My new years gaming resolutions 2010

Feel free to add your list as I have come to a conclusion myself about gaming in 2010.

1. Rent more games, buy less (only multiplayer or dlc heavy games) and save money.

2. Play older games (that I didn't play) before new ones, unless I feel that a newer title is really worth it.

3. Play more RPG's and sports titles. (I neglected a lot of those last year)

4. Come to a conclusion about buying a Wii. Right now it is still no, but with Metroid, Mario Galaxy 2 and NMH2 coming out that might change things.

Around the Network

1. finally beat kingdom hearts 2 (22+ hours in and i keep putting it off)

2. play and beat shadow of the colosus (only hear great things about it)

3. play less online multiplayer games and start beating more single player games (New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario & Luigi: BIS, LoZ: Spirit Tracks, and Fable II)

"If new things are so great, where have they been the whole time?"

1. i agree with, saving money is always good.
2.hmm more detail would be nice
3. sure sure
4. imo thats a no go, if there is anything i regret this gen, its buying a WII, ive played some of the big titles (similar to the ones youve listed) and it just isnt worth it. i dont touch the thing anymore. remember this is just my own opinion, my favorite game this gen is fire emblem: radiant dawn, and that was really the only time i actually thought the WII was worth it, but its not. those titles will be great, but i personally am not gonna have my WII long enough to play them.

Continue being awesome. I like the way 2009 went, and I'm gonna continue doing just that

... If the Wii has your favorite game of the entire gen, doesn't that kind of, well... Make it worth it?

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Oh yeah, as for my gaming resolutions, it's the same one I always do - Make sure I cut down on my backlog some more. That thing is growing way too fast and way too big.

1. Have a threesome...again
2. Play less video games and have more sex
3. Go to gym 6 times a week..and meet hot chick in gym...to have sex with
4. Go out to nightclubs and pick up chicks to have sex with
5. Have sex with a chick with breast implants
6. Have sex with friend's sister

That's about as likely as me playing by somebody elses rules, which I would never do. I only play by my own rules, nobody elses...not even my own.
