I still play a ps2 :( with my ps1 controller , umm 14 years old and still works perfect , except my rubber on the analog sticks is so damaged :P

Anyway if ya break a controller. Break it when no one is in the room, because they may either get hit or think you are nuts.

i've been playing nearly my whole life, and i broke no controller in my life, maybe because i got a very "Chilled out, dude! =D " temper not "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEE SHOW ME YOUR ANGER SNAKKE!"

i only worn out analogs because of overusing them though, thats the main thing that drives me to buy new controllers.

The left analog stick on my Sixaxis is now always slightly tilted forward (thanks to COD4 and Bad Company) and one of the face buttons on my Sixaxis and Dualshock 3 stick sometimes (usually Triangle).

That's about it.

Most were PS2 controllers. I got into the habit of throwing PS1 controllers back in the PS1 days. Unfortunately, PS2 controllers weren't so sturdy.

PS2: 6 Mostly during Pro Evo. 1 during FFXII because the analog stick stopeed working during the middle of an annoying fight.

PS3: 1, dual shock 3, it sustained quite a lot of abuse to be fair.

Yeah the PS1 ones were pretty aweful. I broke about 15 PS1 controllers so you got me beat. I remember beating my dog with one of them and breaking the controller, poor thing I had to buy a new one, the fucking dog got blood all over the carpet though.

LOL, I know that back then I wasn't really that rough on those controllers. It's just that when the X button would get worn out, suddenly it would spread through out the controller in a week's time. I never understood why... The only PSone controllers that lasted long were the ones that came with the playstations that we bought (3 Playstations).

I've only broken 1 out of anger. I was playing Need For Speed and there was this one race I could not win. I must have tried 20 times to beat it before getting pissed and smashing the PS2 controller on the floor. That was about 7 years ago, I don't get that angry anymore.

My dog chewed through my favorite green N64 controller cord.
I also have 3 PS2 controllers that have worn out joysticks.

i had 15 controllers for xbox 1:P none broke out of rage.. some started to disconnect all the time, some got fucked up and went bananas. One suddenly started to burn and alot of smoke cam out:P
