I think Ps3 would of sold more if not for the shortage here in the US, I think over 1 million.

Another big holiday season has come and gone. This could be MS's most successful quarter to date for the entertainment division.

nintendo is just sitting on their money version of Mt. Everest laughing at the world! PS3 with another 900k week!!! awsome!!!

360's 5th xmas period.................. impressive numbers for a console with no cuts in a long time and an "alleged" poor line up last year.

I expect HUGE things from microsoft next year in both retail and XBLA games.

I'm actually more surprised by how well the Xbox 360 can sell worldwide despite lagging way behind PS3 in others and Japan. That right there shows you the power of the US sales!

I think the 360 did a bit better last year.

@ ronster: no cuts? Arcade has received temporary cuts (twice in a single month) over here and has received double 100-dollar gift cards in the US. Those are insane cuts for a console. You can't really ignore those, despite the fact that the 360 has done incredibly well.
