So the PS3 only 'pretends' to sell well. Thats typical, I expect massive losses this quarter from the Nintendo esque tactic of buying up all their stock as it comes into retail! Its typical, but what can I say... If Microsoft had the money im sure they would too.

And the top grossing movie of all time (Titantic) never had a box office weekend that was more than $36 mil (per Box Office Mojo), which is never impressive for such an expensive movie ($200 mil over 10 years ago!).  So bringing up the 360 at all in this instance is irrelevant when the PS3 is still far behind it in raw numbers.

But I DO agree completely with your first two statements and PS3 fans (not fanboys) should be feel good about the weeks that it has had lately.  A major FF release in Japan is like Halo or CoD in the West and this didn't disappoint.

I predict that the Wii is overtracked and PS3 undertracked in NA.

Who cares if it sold a million in a week or not, it's just a number.

PS3 fans should stop damage control in this thread because there is no need for it, PS3 did awesome 2 weeks in a row.

And I just cant see the need to do damage control, 950k 2 weeks in a row!!! cmon!!!

ps3 still hasnt broke 1 million in one week? how sad.
