Gran Turismo is going to bea huge seller for the ps3, we all know that. My question is how much do you thnik it will sell.

Opening day - 1.5 mil

first month (including first day) - 2 mil

second month (including 1st month) - 3.5 mil

third month (including second month) - 4 mil

end of first year - 8 mil

Lifetime sales - 12 mil

I know you might be thinking 12 mil is really high but look at all the other gran turismo games, there huge sellers. Look at gan turismo 4 prologue sales, 1.36 mil. Then look at gran turismo 4 sales, 10.49 mil. Now look at gran turismo 5 prologue, 3.38 mil, I am expecting gt5 to have about 12 mil life times sales.

What do you think?

I'd expect to see around 2 million (1.8-2.5 million) first week (combined for Japan, NA, EU etc). By the end of the first month, 3.2 million or so. Come the end of 2010, I'm thinking 6.5 million (depends on when it actually launches in NA/EU though).
Lifetime, I think 12 million is optimistic personally, but not impossible. I think 10 million is definitely attainable, but isn't guaranteed. 8 million minimum though, expecting at least 9 million though. 9 million would be my lowest expectation, with 11 million being the high end for me.

What are we talking about it launches in march in japan and probably not till like august in the west so are you saying 1.5 first day/week in japan alone or combining the first day/week every where because I highly doubt that it will sell the same as the first week of ff13

Plus racing games have really lost their appeal. I expect about 1 to 2 million in us 2 to 3.5 in europe and about 1 million in japan. Those are all ltd. So all in all about 5 to 6.5 million
