i use to think the wii sucked.. thats before i went to my sisters house and played it!!! its addicting as hell! i cant stay off of deca sports, tennis, mario kart.! damn was i wrong.
now i might even buy a wii this friday!

Ha, I guessed the thread would be something like this.

This game is awesome for this stuff. I brought my Wii, the game, controllers and all to a family party (they're normally kinda dull) recently, put it on the TV and let the kids go at it. It was freggin hilarious how much the siblings would yell at each other. Particularly the ~4yr old kid crying when his older sis'd take all the power ups and leave him for dead.

If it's one thing this game is sorely missing, it's the ability to take (or at least give) friends' lives. I don't know how they missed it, most co-op games I know have it. It sucks when someone completely runs out of lives, no matter how badly they suck, it's supposed to be a group game, ne?

It was also a pain in the ass when I had to leave, and take the console with me - the kids didn't want to part with the remotes! (Party crashed!)

edit: My mom is not fit for this game. She played it with my bros and I for a bit, and after a few rounds she called it "too stressful" - she's the type that yells at the top of her lungs at stages like this. Apparently 2D Mario is too hardcore for her, gotta stick to that Pacman!

in my case it's younger bro (2 years younger making him 18), he always grabs shells and throws them randomly, he pushes people into pits, grabs and throws people too...

that usually turns the game into a brawler/platformer for 5 minutes, ending in laughs :D

no laughs when playing nice, every group needs a jerk to play with :p
