I would agree that The Witcher should get best game of 2010 if it weren't for graphical problems.  The game is riddled with graphical glitches and, when you get those fixed, the game doesn't run at the FPS it should.

I have to count performance when I consider the best game of 2010, therefore The Witcher doesn't win it IMO.

I have no problem with your opinion. The problem is that you called the thread like your opinion would be the absolute truth. I don't get what you are trying to say with that loyalist thing. Non nintendo game will win because they are better games according to majority of this site.

Lost odyssey but seeing as it's not on the poll i voted mass effect



nintendo and sega fan since i was old enough to hold a game controller.

note: my games collection on my profile is only 20ish% complete, i've got a boatload of 360,saturn and dreamcast games to add and a few ps3 games, thanks :)

(Infact it's on my "biggest dissapointment" list.... together with Burnout Paradise)

What about The Witcher made it such a dissapointment for you?

Everyone praises it and then I play it and don't like it at all.

Things I don't like: graphics & especially combat system.

Unfortunately is the combat the core of every RPG, so I can't stand the whole game.

That is what I refer to as over-hyping.  It happens with many games, where peoples expectations for a game cannot possibly be met with any realistic product.

The graphics are somewhat meh, but the atmosphere is awesome (reminds me of the old Kings Field games in fact).  I think the combat system is great, but since you were not more specific, I can't comment on it.

Many people would argue that story and atmosphere is the core of an RPG.  However, I agree with you that gameplay is very important also.  That is why I like The Witcher.

Because, at the end of the day, it's just a Mario platformer. The 4 player on screen stuff is fun, but it misses a few cool things from Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3. It's the "New" series and it shows! Super Mario Galaxy is the Mario game of the generation, maybe even decade.

Between Uncharted 2 and MGS4... it's really hard to pick, but I'll go with MGS4 because at least the enemy AI is fun in this game.

I didn't pick Super Mario Galaxy because it was just too easy. The soundtrack really defines itself compared to the crowd though.

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
