Platforming based SRPG.

sounds like a very interesting idea.

Edit: my idea - what about a mixture of FF(old JRPG style) and Uncharted 2??

The genre of 'Awesome'. Any game can be fitted in there as long as they contain the proper content:

1. Rainbow barf

And that's it.

A cowboy themed game with lots of dialog trees and complex NPCs, and of course some good brawls and shootouts when intimidation and extortion don't do the trick.

I call it a Western RPG.

They should make a sequel to Gun, that was one amazing game...

I would make a new Mario game but it would have to be the true next gen nintendo console because it would need amazing graphics. They would use Ron Jeremy to be the Mario actor. Whenever he would get the growth mushroom, he would have an italian sausage rip past his pants and use it as a weapon, and any time a female enemy would be near, a quick time event would activate with legendary Kama Sutra positions when successful button presses are made. It would be a hit with the kiddies I promise :p.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

MMORTS

You control your kingdom in a living world with millions of other kingdoms constantly battling each other forming and breaking alliances. Gameplay mechanics should be similar to Age of Mythology but much more complex. You invade areas that are like maps, and when you're not playing, you can let a customizable AI take over. Everything can evolve, like your civilization's culture, religion, and war tactics. This affects diplomancy with other kingdoms of course.

That, seems interesting but will be very hard to manage...higher levels would rip off on lower levels...

Universal Role Playing Game- URPG

It combines the freedom of exploration and customization of a WRPG with the linear storytelling and predefined characters of a JRPG.

Crystal Bearers.

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

I'd like to see a RPG with the setting of The Three Muskeeters from a major developer.

Another thing I'd like to see is the MMO version of real-time Jagged Alliance, i.e., a world of mercenaries and contractors and hired guns, set in the Middle East and South America and Southeast Asia and all over the world, RPG mixed with RTS.

Low-level players are mercenaries and specialists, who sign up for short-term contracts and missions, and earn money to buy weapons, gears, vehicles, and trainings.

High-level players can deal directly with corporations (e.g., Blackwater,) governments and freedom fighter/terrorist organizations that give out "main" contracts.  The high-level players post job listings, hires and organizes sub-contractors (i.e., other players) for campaigns, and decide how much to pay those sub-contractors out of whatever he gets paid from his main contract.  He can also fire/terminate a subcontractor who's more trouble than he's worth, i.e., rude, uncooperative players.  He can review and rate each subcontractor's performances.

Obviously each campaign has multiple sides/parties.  The US government may give out a contract do defend a certain supply line or defend-the-diplomat mission, while a terrorist group would give out an opposing contract to interrupt and sabortage that same supply line or kill the diplomat.

There is no persistent world.  Players basically sign up for a contract, which could be one mission or a series of missions, and then are sent off to different places and events in the world.

The outcomes out of contracts/campaigns will have impacts on the overall political dynamics in the game world and future missions.
