We are getting on January only NMH2 and TvsC, for me that is a way better start than 2009

Just a couple of games from Nintendo and Wii would have a great lineup for the year.

For you, but for me it isn't. I dont understand what's the big deal about NMH. TvsC is decent, but there's no games from Nintendo and these games are indeed small games.

I'm hoping or a better year. It's Wii's 4th year and the releases are few, small and far in between, it shouldn't be happening.

you are saying that no one of those games are better than the ones launched last year, cause that would be sad.

You are being way too harsh with NMH2, Sky Crawlers and TvsC, at least from the videos Tatsunoko seems like a great 2D fighter

And at least the lineup for the month is better, unless for you is quantity over quality.

You were saying that with a few Nintendo games the year would already be better than 2009. That's not true.

Momentum from New Super Mario Bros. Wii will obviously carry over into January.
The numbers it will probably put up this month (>500k at least?) could match the launch of a strong title on any other console.

Tatsunoku vs Capcom & No More Heroes 2 are 2 good quality titles. They may not light the sales charts on fire, but they serve another purpose---they could keep part of the userbase satisfied, and reluctant to leave the console. Sky Crawlers probably won't sell 20k, but it should be a decent title.

February has 2 Sega titles, Shiren the Wanderer, and Endless Ocean 2---Other userbase satisfiers.

I would pick up NMH2 first day but I allready Pre-ordered TvC and ME2 which all get to the store the same day1

I have No More Heroes 2 pre-ordered.

Sky Crawlers will have an MSRP of only $30.

How can you turn that down?!

I do wish XSEED could add a WM+ control option, but since they're a localization team, I doubt they have the necessary skills for that programming.

It annoys me to no end that No More Heroes 2 comes out a month after I leave North America. Well now I've got my number 1 must have game of 2011...

Endless Ocean 2 is Nintendo.

The quarter does seem mostly devoid of first-party releases, but it should only pick up from there. Galaxy and Sin & Punishment in Q2, Metroid in Q3, Zelda, Wii Vitality, and the Retro Studios game in Q4, with some smaller releases sprinkled across all three of those.
