I never will get the point of a platinum trophy. I mean all it is is a "congrats for getting all the other trophies in our game here is a shiny platinum!" I don't pursue getting all the achievements on X360 games and I'm not about to start trying to get platinum trophies on my PS3 games. I have 0 Platinum trophies but I do have 5-6 100% achievements on X360 titles played. One I am most proud of would have to be Oblivion though. Wasted many hours playing through everything in that beauty!

I put way too much time into Oblivion. Getting those 10 last points was really rewarding =)

here is a question would you change your playing habits if a platinum trophy offered tangible rewards like PSN cash beta tests dlc discounts etc

Just got Demon's Souls Platinum Yesterday making it my 8th.

THere's really only one trophy that pissed the hell out of me. After doing all the others it could take you anywhere between 2 minutes to a full... lord knows when!!! It all depends on a rock from a certain single enemy with a 0.05% drop rate [i think...]. Also, that enemies the strongest THING in the game that isn't a boss... It has a move that most likely WILL kill you in one hit if you don't have extremely high health. Also if you block that move completely destroys your stamina gauge. Most people choose to sneak up on it and just one hit KO it with a move called soul sucker.

After 2 and a half hours of killing this same creature over and over again, I just asked for someone to give me damn weapon I had to make using that stone.
