Oh and they released an update which reduces the size of the installs and speeds them up. They implemented a software change so that it does not install any repeated data which is on a disc.

Pretty cool, but with a 120GB HDD I don't think I'll have any problems with space...

About Halo 3, is it only Halo 3 that's not recommended for install, or also for ODST?

Wouldn't the game have to support this? Or does it replace them with a shortcut? Because wouldn't the game code still look for it in the repeated data?

@xen, u got to get "lost odyssey" its such a great jrpg from the creator of the ff series. and congrats on getting last remnant and infinite undiscovery,blue dragon as well. also get magna carta 2 its a good jrpg as well.

I have had 2 jasper units die on me, You can Install all games, but there are a few that do not run better, they actually run much worse, One is Halo 3 , the others I can;t remember right now, but you can find out at a game store they know. I really don;t notice a difference on load times with installed games, maybe a sec here and there but nothing major.

Lost Odyssey is the next game I'm getting. FFX-esque+Sakaguchi+Uematsu=buy!

I got the JRPG's that never have a chance of going to the PS3, 3 from MS, and 1 that is a lost cause on the PS3 lol.

I will also get MC2, but later. Maybe It'll get a PS3 version with extras - they love to do that stuff.
