Hmm, Mass Effect 2 and Halo: Reach are really the only games I'm looking forward to on the 360 side of things, well and Dead Rising 2 but that is multiplatform. It might be finally time to buy a PS3 in 2010...

This will be a very interesting year. It's great to be a gamer. I see a whole lot of crow being eaten, lol.

Sales-wise the X360 will only be in 3d place in 2010, but quality-wise the game line-up might dominate, or at least win the most nominations.

It's very hard for the competition to match

Fable III
Alan Wake
Crackdown 2

along with semi-exclusives like

Mass Effect 2
Splinter Cells
Metro 2033
Kingdm Under Fire 2.

PS3 could possibly match it, but not if Last Guardian is postponed to 2011, which many believe it will.

Reach will sell 8-9 million.

Team ICO Games are incredible and I could easily see them winning GOTY with The Last Guardian.

Games shouldn't be judged by sales because TBH they have nothing to do with the quality of the game, sure they may reflect how good the game is but that doesn't account for all the stupid buyers, you know the ones that know nothing about the game just that it has a famous franchise labeled on it like Halo or Mario(with exceptions).

PS3 will most likely continue outselling 360 and by the time Natal comes out it will still out sell it, whats so great about NATAL you people (not the guy I'm replying to, actually this post has nothing to do with the guy I am replying to...) act like it is the second coming or has the ability to make love...can it because that would be pretty cool? I can see it now "Xbox turn on, no not like that down boy down!"

dude reach will sell 10m+ easy. it will do about 4.5 first week(halo 3 did 3.8). im a huge fan of halo and i can admit odst was only decent. and that game sorry dlc or is it a game will sell 5-7m so how would reach wich wont have dated graphics and be 10 times bigger and better then odst only do as good as odst. it doesnt make scense.

halo 2-8.43. increase of 2m units
halo 3-10.57(will finish at about 11.5m) that another increase of 3m form halo 2
halo reach-you say 6m thats a decrease of almost 6m. it should sale 2.5 million more then halo 3. which would be 14m

I didn't say lifetime sales but theres no way Reach will sell more than Halo 3 but I agree it will sell far more than the $60 DLC they call ODST.

Reach will sell 2.5m first week because there is virtually NO HYPE around that game, granted that will change in the next few months, but nobody is Eagerly waiting for another Halo Flop. I say Reach lifetime sales will be 9m.

quality is always greater than quantity....sony exclusives will sell hardware, 360 exclusives will sell to existing userbase. A lot of ppl r waiting to buy consoles for gran turismo, god of war, heavy rain is so unique it may get ppl to buy a console and ff13 as well but halo reach, anyone who really cares for the halo franchise bought a 360 when halo 3 came out and same goes for the other exclusives. Alan wake could be an exception but styll i think sony tops 360 and nintendo always comes out on top. 360's life depends on Natal at this point, also the sony wand basically has wii's games to back it up as i expect to see a lot of porting from wii to ps3 as that wand launches.

Xbox doesn't have any games.. it used to do games back in the release days. But now its all about user interface. Happy Facebooking.
