i bought the Playstation 1 for only one reason, and that was Final Fantasy 7 and that was my only console and my only game until i decided to borrow my nephews Playstation 3 to see how Bluray and games look on my HD-TV, and i never gave it back :D

Edit: i completely forgot i had a G7000 as a kid, AKA Magnavox Odyssey

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

OMG that ANIME!!!! Captain Tsubasa or something, I watched until they played against Karl Heinz Schneider. Then I lost touch with the series ( I was living in Colombia at the time). At that time I was also watching Saint Seiya up to the end of the Poseidon series and the last I saw was chapter elysium, anyways lol I got to play one of those games, don't remember which one.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

first console: Sega Master System. my parents, sister and i used to all sit taking turns every night, think we got it when i was barely old enough to read (3 or 4). but, you dont need to read to play sonic, right?

the first console i bought myself was an original phat DS. bought it because...there were so many great-looking games i wanted to play, and i was dating an anti-sony fanboy at the time who didnt want me playing a PSP. then i bought a Wii about 8 months after launch, for twilight princess (and the added GC-game playability meant i could give my brother my gamecube).

i never bought any others because i've never needed to. i've always known someone who had the consoles i didn't have, my boyfriend has a PS3 and his brother has a 360 and a PSP Go so i get lots of playtime :D

First system I owned was a cheap NES ripoff with those 1000 in 1 games con-job which is actually around 10-1 games only with mutliple hacks, starting point, weapon and lives etc counting as 'new games'.

The first system that I actually requested from my parent specifically was the Mega Drive / Genesis, I wanted it so bad because I lived at a friends place for about a month during school break and he had a Megadrive with Mortal Kombat (blood and all) and Street of Rage 1-3 which we played to death.

The first system that I bought with my own money was Playstation 2, at the time me and my 3 friends all purchase a PS2 for Soul Calibur 2 because we were framerate obsessed freaks that devour the game and went on to lose miserably once we actually met real tourni attending pros.

Hmm... I had to think on this for a bit. The Atari 2600 was a pass-me-down, the NES was a gift, as was my Game Boy. So I guess that makes the SNES the first one I bought myself. It was on sale for $129 from Kay-Bee toys. (Okay, why do I remember that much?)
